my longtime friend, cha, buzzed me last friday for a save-the-date shoot for her brother, shallom. i haven't gone shooting for quite some time because of my real work, so, the idea of having to heat up my camera again seemed like a welcome idea. we headed off to the u.p. technohub for some coffee on a rainy saturday morning and just went around to shoot photos for their save-the-date card. i need loads of time to finish the entire set so here's a sneak peek :)

here i go again with project 365.. last 2008, i only lasted until march and wasn't able to catch up. haha! pathetic i know.. but i'm hopeful this 2009.. maybe, just maybe, i can at least make it. lol! :) i think this is really a fun exercise to spruce up your creativity or tickle it a bit. plus all the other folks doing the 365 are such an inspiration... :) oh, 2009! i so fervently hope i complete you this time :D

happy holidays, everyone! i've been out of touch right after christmas because of some photography work we had for four straight days.. unfortunately, i got terribly sick on the 29th, which is why i had to miss our last wedding of the year :(

i've been sick since then and actually celebrated new year's eve in bed... oh well, at least i'm still alive and kicking! :D

so since i don't have a single photo of new year's eve... i think i'll just look back on what we did last christmas eve :) awww... i really feel so bad for missing out last night's celebrations.. there were so much to photograph! :( i guess i'll just admire your photos then .. leave me a link! :)

christmas eve tomorrow! wow, time REALLY flies. i can still remember everything we did last year during this season. now everything went by so fast, i can't believe that i'll be making christmas dinner again tomorrow.

busy day it will be - going jogging with the hubby early morning then on to prepare for several entrees that i so hope i can pull off. we'll be having rib eye roast, three cheese lasagna with italian sausage and my kids' favorite carbonara. eeek!! i forgot to pick up the dory fish i reserved at the grocery today. going back for that tomorrow. yipes!

anyways, i'm stoked and so excited for tomorrow that i can't sleep. lol! :)

let me just wish you guys a very merry christmas and a joyful new year! be blessed! :D

lol..i've been so hooked on facebook and twitter for the past weeks and i just couldn't find the time to update this blogger blog blog :P

anyways, i'm feeling really sunny today and i'm happy because work is going quite well - PRAISE GOD. to Him be the Glory!!!

then my kids are doing good in school after hearing reports from their teachers.. :) Christmas is just around the corner! and even if i haven't even gone half way through my list, i'm still happy because i know i'd probly cram to shop and end up with better looking gifts. hehe!

i sorta had the mojo to scrap... :D wish i could like spend more time doing this. i like sunday mornings :) i get to do something in between.. and today, i decided to use miss mint's kindergarten crafts coordinated kit (www.peppermintcreative.com) and scrap away :D

family getaway at la union

on we went to la union last oct 31st up until the 2nd of november for our yearly family reunion at la union. my hubby's clan gets together during this time of the year and it's also a nice break for the family to enjoy the beach. :)

i had a chance to play around with my new point and shoot camera - the panasonic lumix LX3! i'm telling you, this is one heck of a camera. :D i'm so in love with it. now my dslr gets to rest and work only during wedding shoots and other stints with metrophoto.

the family stayed at puerto de san juan in san juan, la union. no choice actually, but i think this is the most decent you can find in LU. after the lunch party/reunion, the children and i went on to lounge at the beach and enjoy nature... sweet :D the hu

bby was busy chatting with the oldies so we went ahead.. hehe :)

see the hues of blue? so perfect. this is what you'll see right beside the resort.

the kids were busy playing and i was left watching them.. taking photos of my feet.. hehehe. and my little critters of course :D

daddy came in just before sunset and played with tristan and tiff :)

the sunset was so lovely.. never seen anything like it! the hues of the sky were so perfect.

really so beautiful... God painted a masterpiece that afternoon :)

the following day, we went up at around 6:30am and basked in the morning sun.. of course i was still left taking photos :| not that i didn't want to swim.. twas more like that time of the month.. :|

and if you still aren't tired of sunsets, this was the sunset last saturday afternoon :) i really love how the colors blend together!

went back to manila sunday evening :) now that was really relaxing! we're soo excited for April next year.. i promise to myself that i'd go to the beach more often. who cares about getting a tan, i love the water and the sand on my feet! :D
